  • First days of arrival you must drink bottled water and fried food in normal restaurants to avoif stomach problems, later you can start eating in places loated where mexicans go to eat ( you see people) otherwise maybe the place is not good.

dont eat things in street you dont know maybe the meat or spicies have been with out friged for hours or days..

bring some medicine for your country to help stomach problems, here in MEXICOyou can get medicines withour prescription.

    Favorite Dish: .......TACOS.....TORTAS... POZOLE... QUILAQUILES.....BARBACOA... CORONA...ONE MIXOTE... .CORUNDAS...MACHACA...TAMALES...MOLE WITH CHICKEN...ETC
PLEASE ONE BREAKFAST WITH EGGS MEXICAN STYLE.... NOT CHILI..!!!

dont eat food in the street can cause you stomach problems, meat in warm places can not be fresh.
try to drink just potable water.
bring your own medicines from your country.

AVAILABLE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANTS.... if you cook your own salads be aware to desinffect the vegetables since here the agriculture use processed water..

  • prices of food will be cheaper in other states in comparation mexico city, Monterrey, Guadalajara.

tip normaly is not included and you need to give the 15 per cent of the ticket when you pay in credit card or its a nice restaurant. when you just go to a small local restaurant just leave like 15 or 10 pesos tip.

people that are sensitive to stomach problems or just arrived to mexico, avoid hot and spacies food, also not eat vegetables since some places do not desinfect the veggies..
if you are worried about the ice cubes in your drinks just ask bottled water..

you can not bring inside the restaurant your own water or drinks, since is bad seen..

clean your hands or bring your alcohol cleaner hands for traveler...

Favorite Dish: ask if they have just in case menu in english...maybe....

being patient with the waiters since service will be more slow in some cities out of big cities. more slower service in the beach... weather make walk slow... and memorize... so be patient ..you are in holidays !!!! je,je

Hola...In your travels next year you must visit Loreto. Mi Casa should be completed by mid year. I don't know my times of visiting yet but will let you know. Is the picture of Mission de Loreto taken at San Javier?
