I lived in Nebraska for four years, while I went to graduate school in Lincoln. I believe that Nebraska is a very misunderstood state -- most think of it as flat nothingness, but this is far from the truth. Once I got used to the prarie, I was able to identify the inherent beauty that Willa Cather desribed.
