Favorite Thing: What is there to do in wellington? you ask ?
any and every thing. Wellington with its diverse population base and varying ethic origins offers the tourist a wide range of activities to choose from , from the simple things like museums , to the diverse off road four wheel treks, over the next weeks i will adding as many of these types of activities as i possibly can so to be as of as much information to the VT visitor as possible.
Fondest Memory: Shoud i ever be away from this city for any period of time , what i wont miss is the wind , but what i will miss is the sunshine and the scenery and all that goes with it. The Wind you ask, as Wellington is situated at the end of our North Island and across a wild strait to the South Island, the wind can funnel across the region with a tendency to be strong, so great for sailing and Kite flying , however there are many places that one can escape from the wind , either indoors or outdoors. the picture is taken from the lookout above the Kapiti, region , Wellington's Gold Coast long stretches of beaches backed by sand dunes and small cities , for shopping. Golf, Camping , fishing , diving are among the many activities available in this area.
