"Wassup with New West?!" New Westminster by jsalahub

Seriously, HOW does New West get it's own location on VT??? I mean, COME ON!! There's so little there to warrant a destination-specific visit that I'm amazed it's lasted this long. Sure it has some historical value, but what is there now...Douglas College? The Quay? That riverboat casino? Isn't there a submarine... Maybe worth a swing by if you're in the big Van and wanna do a little gambling, but hey, you can do that at the Great Canadian Casino at the Holiday Inn at Broadway and Heather! I dunno...I'm sure that New West has it's redeeming qualities, I must have just missed them as I slept on the Skytrain between Vancouver and Sur/Del..... "<bing bong> The next station is... Columbia." .......
