Eredenet is the 3rd largest city in Mongolia with about 75,000 people. Its a town built around its copper mines and has a sizable Russian community. Eredenet has good markets with fresh vegetables, lots of canned goods and real pizza:)

Practically, this city is a good base to explore Bulgan and beyond.
