Sunshine, Flowers, Quietness

Crans-Montana is surely better known for its winter season, when skiers come from all over the world. However, my month spent here is in July, so I found it quite quiet. Nevertheless, everyday lovely sunshine and countless wild flowers on mountains make the stay no less interesting at all than in winter.

There's a "Montana Village" not far

There's a "Montana Village" not far from Crans-Montana. It's worth a one hour or so walk there.

I understand it happens every summer in July in Crans. It's an exciting show to watch. By the way, the organizer offers free drinks to audience every noon.

Pros and Cons

Pros:A lot of possibilities in the small place: hiking, mountain biking, walking, skiing, ballooning, horse riding....
Cons:It's an expensive place... well, I guess we have to pay for all the good things we enjoy here
In a nutshell:a Very lovely Swiss little town

nice pics illa. was here many years ago. we stayed there two days and had a visit to the Rhone Glacier on our way home.
