I've used this page to do a review of the 3 day, 2 night Mekong Delta tour with the Sinh Cafe. It's therefore not really full of tips of where to go as that choice is made for you! Hopefully this will be helpful though if you are thinking of doing a similar trip. Be prepared for some early morning starts and take plenty of camera film or a large memory card, I think i was snapping something every five minutes!

I would recommend the tour, especially if you are limited for time in which to see the region. The downside is that you are regulated by the itinerary - not a good trip if you are someone who needs regular toilet stops or if you like to feel free to plan what you see and when. You are going to be following the tourist trail but I thought that all the places we visited were really worth seeing and I think it would be very difficult to see a lot of the region independently.

The hotels aren't great (especially in Chau Doc) and the biggest tip I could give is to take a pillow or something you could use - the one's provided are like bricks!! Also if you are a veggie, take a few supplies with you as one of the included lunches seemed to only consist of pork!
