One of the best years of my life was spent in the motherland. (So to speak) The first half of the year was spent as a student at the Beijing Language and Culture University. You can tell the drastic difference in my lifestyle... The second half was spent as a Research Assistant at the Canadian Embassy in the Political Economic Reporting and Public Affairs Section. Life definitely improved materially when I moved into Maizidian... I made wonderful friends that I still miss a lot. I also had fantastic times that I will never forget! |
