"Chebika and his cascade in the desert" Shabikah by cadzand

Shabikah Travel Guide: 14 reviews and 72 photos

In the middle of the desert at the feet of the Atlas a mountain oasis, a spring and even a cascade. The water has a constant 27° temperature, hardly to believe, even in wintertime.
The ancient village of Chebika has been completely devatated by the 1960's floods. Only the walls are still standing up.

What a view! Looks like a really beautiful place ... if somewhat devastated.

The light on your first picture is superb and gives a true impression of the desert.
