The path of the fox

From the town center, you can hike along the Drance river on the "sentier du renard" and end up at the Nyon waterfall and the adventure parc with his airborne adventure high in the trees. Take the time to visit a local cheese dairy and maturing cellars and go to La Fruitière de Morzine where cheese is still made in the traditional way.
Working with the dairy farmers of the village, the young owner loves his job and will explain and show you during an hour the different steps of making cheese (Tomme, Abondance or Reblochon) every wednesday and thursday at 9 a.m. at the route de la Plagne next to the shop l'Alpage where you can buy the local delicious meat products, cheese, marmelades, liquor, wines etc.

In the Ardoisière des 7 pieds, Frank Buet, a young slate worker, offers weekly guided tours, to explain the history of each process and demonstrate the techniques used in working with slate.
