With it's 700 year old castle, ramparts and tower gates, (and a few Roman ruins) Yvoire is a great place to start a dream trip or take a break from your vacation. This small scenic medieval village situated on the French shore of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman.) is 30 minutes by car and an hour by train/ferry from Geneva, Switzerland. It offers some splendid scenery and is known as one of the most beautiful villages in France.
