Bangalore is situated in the State of Karnataka
From its comfortable perch of 990 m above sea level, the pleasant climate is conducive to greenery and the city boasts a profusion of flowering trees, lakes and parks within its boundaries.
Bangalore is a cosmopolitan, bustling and diverse city, where different cultures and customs exist. It is now what they call India's Silicon Valley, along with aerospace research, biotechnology and dozens of premier education institutions.
We only made a short sightseeing trip through the city on our way to Hassan. Once outside the city and its suburbs we discover complete different scenery.

Wonderful colors! That ochre is one of my favorites. They are obviously high enough to enjoy good crops and safety from flooding.
