(could not read the Chinese name): Incense shops
  • Tip Rating:
  • Name of Shop: (could not read the Chinese name)

In the Yonghegong Daije Street, the street where you find the magnificent Lama temple (Yonghegong), and the Confucian temple (which is very nearby) you find several small shops which are selling lots of incense.

Incense in lots of different sizes and colours.

In these shops you can also buy religious items like small statues and necklaces and bracelets.

What To Buy: incense, religious items

What To Pay: a few yen

The Post office: Buying some stamps
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • Name of Shop: The Post office

Almost everywhere you can buy postcards of sets of postcards (10 pieces in a set), but mostly they do not sell stamps.

So after you have bought your postcards, the search for stamps can begin.

So asked the desk staff of the hotel where to buy some stamps, and they told me that there was a post office just around the corber. And to be honest I had already passed here several times, but I had never noticed that it was the post office.

So in fact there is a post office just opposite of the train station.

What To Buy: stamps to send some postcards to the friends

it is not a special G, it is special D. It is a D inside a bigger G-like figure. D means Di-Tie. Chinese for "subway".
