My America trip started in San Francisco.

In my hotel I wanted to book a city trip combined with the trip to Alcatraz Island.

The nice lady behind the desk phoned a few tourist offices, and finally I got my combined trip.

That was very important, because it was not possible to book a ticket for the same day to go to Alcatraz at the ticket boot at Pier 41. I was there on Sunday, and the fist tickets you could buy were for a departure on Tuesday.

It was really worth visiting this old prison, especially with the audio guide, like this you could hear different noises from inside the prison.
