Restaurant Name: Las Manas

Well if you enter Las Manas restaurante in Amberes (Antwerpen in Espanol), it is just as you enter a restaurant in Spain.

It is really crowded, noisy and the waiters look as they are balancing on a nervous breakdown. So a real typical spanish atmosphere.

It is not the most cosy place to eat, but I am certain this is one of the best restaurants for Spanish food in the region.

If you decide to go there (especially in the weekend), it is better you first call for making a reservation.

Favorite Dish: To start of course a Fino Sherry or a glass of deliscious Sangria with a plate of Tapas, like Manchego Cheese and some Serrano ham.

Deliscious plates are the Paella, the Zarzuela and the Rabit plate which is a bit spicy.

And for dessert a fine cake covered with whiskey.

Restaurant Name: Angeloot

The food was deliscious, but at the end of the meal I had a bad experience, after i asked the bill, I gave the waiter a 2000 BEF bill, and a few moments later he came back with the change, I checked it and noticed that he had given change on a 1000 BEF note, so I went inside and I told him that he made a mistake, well he wasn't surprised at all, without saying anything he gave me another 1000 bef bill back, what was prove to me that he had the intention of cheating on me. I believe it was very stupid to try to do that with someone of the propre country, maybe he is used to do this with foreigners, then he has more luck as they do not know the size, color of the different banknotes. So maybe this restaurant is for me a bit of a TOURIST TRAP. So if you visit this restaurant check your change.
