It must have been end of Februari or even March of 2006, that while surfing on the net I found some amazing pictures if the Carnaval in Venice.

That gave such a Wow-feeling, and that feeling also said, och yes, I want to go there and see it with my own eyes.

In that same week my flight and my hotel were booked - och yes almost a year in advance . . .

I went to Venice on a five day city trip. Of course the Carnaval was the main reason, but I also wanted to see the city and the nearby Islands (Murano, Burano).
