    • Favorite Thing: So the first Wild reserve we did visit during our Kenya - Uganda trip was the Lake Nakuru National Park. I was really looking forward to see some game in the wild, as I really enjoyed the game driving a few years ago, in South Africa together with Tom and Gonnie (aka Tompt on VT).

    This National Park is located near the city Nakuru.

    This salt lake is the ideal place to see Flamingos. 1/4 of the world population of Flamingos can be seen here.

    As we passed the gate of the Lake Nakuru National Park, I had noticed that there were two big iron images of a Rhino attached at the entry gate (see pictures).

    And indeed the first game we did see as we drove through the park, were Rhinos.

    Fondest Memory: The thousands of Flamingos.
