On day 2 of our Kenya - Uganda trip we planned a visit at Lake Nakuru National Park.
As it was the first park we would visit during this 3 week trip we were very impatient and also curious about the game (animals) that we would see.
This Lake Nakuru National Park is very famous for its colony of Flamingos. About 1/4th of the world population of Flamingos is living here. That sounded very impressive and I must agree it was a wonderful view.
But there was more, our first park and we there were already some white rhinos. There were also plenty of buffalos.
We stopped at Baboon Cliff for a small pick nick. We thought to see lots of baboons over there but there was only one. From this view point you had a splendid view over the lake and the park.
It was a great experience to visit this park. |
