Bala-Hisar Fort The Mongol Emperor Babar built this fort in the 16th century. In 1818 the Sikh King Ranjit Singh rebuilt it, later on it was used by the British soldiers and now it is the headquarter of the Pakistan army. That is the reason it can't be visited, you must be satisfied with a view from outside.

Qissa Khawani Bazaar The old city was enclosed with a wall and sixteen gates, the most famous gate was the Kabuli gate but nowadays only the name remains the gate is gone. It was the gate of the Qissa Khawani Bazaar, the famous Storytellers bazaar, before this was a camping site for Caravans and soldiers, where professional storytellers recited ballads and tales of war and love. I passed in this street, I did not see any storytellers, and maybe they are gone same as the gate. But I did see some guys repairing engines on the side walk.
