    Thanks for sharing us your nice tips and photos. I have been to Osaka a couple of times but I still feel I have visited enough. I will go there sometime soon.

    Thank you, a proud Austrian, for ingenious Austrian architecture in Osaka! But it wasn't very hot in Eilat in April - water was only 23C...

    Your tip made me curious, so I looked up your temple no 1 and found it! It's one of the 88 Temples of the Settsu pilgrimage route (#24): Shinko-in Temple. It's famous for its thousands of Jizo statues: www12.plala.or.jp/HOUJI/oter...

    That was really nice of them to invite you in for the ceremony at Shrine # 1. And it was nice of them to give you a present, even if you don't know what it was. I like that custom of hanging wishes on trees.
