a Must, when cruising the Rhine-valley

by globetrott - last update: Apr 7, 2007

For half a year I was working for KD-cruises onboard of M/S Britannia in the pursers office and Koblenz was a regular port of call during our cruises between Basel and Rotterdam.
That was back in 1980...
since then I came back many times exploring this area with my motorhome...

An interesting new page on Koblenz and vicinity. One of my sons used to be very interested in castles, so I took him to Burg Lahneck and Marksburg when he was younger.

Michael, awesome page about this well known German city. I was there once about 25 years ago and came across it a few times by train on the lovely Rhine vally railway line. Well done... :-)

Obviously worth visiting city! Thanks Michael for the great idea. Burg Eltz and St. Castor Church are very attractive. I saw Mosel in Metz I wish to see where Reihn and Mosel meet...
