My husband and I stayed here in 2001 in late March. The rains and the cold were too much for sightseeing but the castle was a wonderful experience. We were the only guests on one of the nights and we felt like royalty. Visit during the summer if you can.

Ah... the terrace view of the Rhine must be a great place to have dinner in the Summer! Must be an amazing view! I'm so glad I didn't have to help build that place. Carrying the stone up that hill must have been a pain!
