Serpuchov - CEPПYXOB is a town, about 100 Km south of Moscow.
I made a fullday-excursion there and could see some interesting buildings and museums...

...and lots of lovely wooden houses in the old part of town.
THIS was actually one of the highlights of my 10 days in Moscow...

...Out in the country, where time seems to stand still for ages in many good ways...

Russia - Serpuchov

Such an excursion will be almost impossible to organize for a tourist like me, not knowing
more than a few Russian words and just beeing able to slowly read Cyrillic...

...and therefor I was glad that Anya (Anya_D) had to idea to take this excursion
with me and so we took the train on a sunday morning into " Russia's Wild West "

It was great to see this tiny symbol of Communism still existing inside a Russian town... Its was getting a bit rusty... more travel advice

It`s cool i have a country house near Chekhov city it`s near to Serpukhov, very beautiful places... esp. Melichovo
