Hi Michael, I'm doing some of my eternal research for the next trip to Europe hopefully next year. I can't believe that I sailed right past the Loreley last year and didn't even see it!!! But your Oberwesel page is lovely and even though I stayed in Bacharach last trip, I think I could be happy in Oberwesel for a night or two next year. Thanks as always.

An excellent page on this beautiful Rhine Valley town, with fine photos! I have been to the Schlosshotel Schönburg, but only to attend a party, not to stay overnight.

A remarkable Romantischer retreat along the Rhine :~) I once saw a Rhein in Flammen at Koblenz... absolutely spectacular!

Excellent presentation another beautiful city in Rheinland-Pfalz. Dream to cruise over the Rhein one day. Wonderful collage at the intro page - I would like to buy such post-cards when visiting such places, ha-ha!

I past Kaub the other day and stopped in Koblenz. Now, I wonder whether Oberwesel is on that side of the Rhine on which I passed by train. The station names always "flitz" by so fast :)
