When you arrive by car, there will be good signs for the different parkings in the centre.
Simply make sure, you have enough coins for the machines - and be back in time, as the police will controll the parking-tickets rather strictly - and for foreigners they even charge higher fines !

The pic shows the trainstation from inside - 1908 was a great time of the Austrian empire and Bohemia was a part of it. Budweis is actually the german name for Ceske Budejovice.

Take the train to Ceske Budejovice

Ceske Budejovice is a major trainstation of the trainsystem between Linz-Summerau-Prag.
Simply leave the train and go towards the big bus-station.
Keep walking the same direction and you get directely to the centre of town and the beautiful town-square.
And if you loose your way, simply watch out for the "black tower" that you may see from most places in town.
And if you are a fan of old locomotives - go first to the right to see this old steam-train in front of the station !
