Saint Nepumuk

Saint Nepomuk is the national saint of Czech Republic.
He was drowned on Charles-bridge in Prague by the king - and here is a great sandstone-sculpture of him, as a part of the holy trinity column on main-square.

This house once was certainly a really lovely building and needs a lot of work and money as well today.

It is a pity nobody invested money into these buildings during communiste times.

walk the side-streets as well

When you are interested in great old architecture, take a small walk also into some of the side-streets of the town-square.

Many of the buildings are in a terrible condition and will be restored only step by step, when-ever an investor was found with enough money.

This great building has just the facade left over, inside there are not even floors - but a nice small park is around the building and one day maybe it will be restored in perfect way.
