Black Theatre in Prague / Prag
The Black Theatre is a special kind of performance, mostly without any words, just music.
I saw a nice Black Theatre performance, called Yellow submarine.
The main principle of the Black theatre is a black stage, and the actors are totally or partly dressed in black as well.
So you may just see the parts of the body that are not dressed in black.
Dress Code: NO special dress-code, simply make sure you get a ticket in time - these performances are mostly booked out in advance
Address: Na Prikope 10
Directions: This Black Theatre is next to the Casino of Prague in Rytirska
Phone: 00420 / 222 244 358

The National Theatre of Prague / Praha / Prag
The theatre was under re-construction while I was there, but attending a performance might be a good chance to make some pics of the wonderful interior.
I'll do that next time / most probably at around Christmas
And before walking home, take a walk along the lovely Art Nouveau buildings in Masarykovo Nabrezi
Dress Code: Dressing formal for a theatre is not as usual as in Austria or other parts of Europe.
Directions: On Smetanovo Nabrezi
Theme: Theater
the municipal building in Prague / Praha / Prag
The Municipal building is also lighted in a great way untill around midnight.
That way the great mosaiques of the fassade look even a bit better than during the day.
The Art Nouveau Cafe and Restaurant will be closed early at night, and the whole area around the building is rather empty and maybe even a bit "spooky"
Dress Code: NO special dress-code required
Directions: On Namesti Republiky

Smetana &b Hrazdany in Prague / Prag
This is again Cafe "Smetana" - mentioned already as a great place to go under my restaurant-tips !
At night it is even a much better place, as it is totally empty, but you may use the chairs and tables and watch the great scenery there.
Dress Code: The famous composer Smetana ( his sculpture is on the left of my pic ) will not care for you, NOR will anyone of the cafe, as they are closed at night, but leave their chairs for the public...
Directions: Directely in front of the Smetana-museum
Theme: Other
the old townhall of Prague / Prag
Untill about 01.00 a.m. all of the garden-restaurants on main square will be open, whenever the weather is fine.
Thousands of people will take a walk there, enjoying the great buildings.
Taking pics is easy, if you have the possibility to place your camera on a tripod, or simply make your clicks as soft as possible.
Dress Code: Except for a very few restaurants NO dress code is required.
Directions: Directely on Staromestske Namesti
Theme: Eating and Drinking
Staromestske Namesti & Jan Hus monument in Prague
Take a walk on the main square , next to the monument of Jan Hus , who was burned 1415.
Lots of benches are found around his monument and garden-restaurants are there as well on the opposite side of the square.
Dress Code: NO special dress code is required !
Directions: Directely on Staromestske Namesti / the main square

Marionette - theatre in Prague / Prag
Marionettes from Czechia are famous all over Europe, and here you may even see large performances of classical operas performed by marionettes.
There are plenty of such theatres all over Prague - simply watch out for their colorful entrances.
Dress Code: NO special dress-code is required.
Simply get your tickets well in advance, the best places will be sold out otherwise !!
Directions: This theatre is on Karlova, just 300 meters from Charles Bridge
Theme: Theater
Charles Brige at night
Charles Bridge is a great place during the day, but it even gets much better and more romantic at night-time.
Musicians and all kinds of artists will show different programs every day, just pass by or watch it, leave some coins...
Dress Code: Another great place to go without any special dress-code
Directions: Charles Bridge up and down
Theme: People Watching
Prague by night
Smetanovo Nabrezi with its great boulevard along the Moldau / Vlatva offers great views of the Hradzin !
The building with the tower on the right of my pic is the disco "Karlovy Lazne" , that I mentioned in my previous tip.
Dress Code: Nothing special required, just come in time if you plan to get one of the very few benches.
Directions: Smetanovo Nabrezi - close to Charles Bridge

Karlovy Lazne - disco in Prague / Prag
Karlovy Lazne is the biggest disco in Czech Republic ( according to a local travel-guide) :
5 floors for dancing, conveniently located just about 200 meters from Charles Bridge, and only a few meters from Smetana-museum
Dress Code: There seems to be no special dress-code, BUT rather a good security-check at the entrance !
Address: on Smetanovo nabrezi
Directions: about 200 meters from Charles Bridge, and only a few meters from Smetana-museum
Theme: Dancing
