Albatros-botel in Prague / Praha /

This boat-hotel is docked in the northern centre of Prague, opposite the LETNA-park.

Unique Qualities: These kind of boatels always attract my attention, as ships of that kind may dock right in the middle of town and the atmosphere inside the small rooms reminds me a lot of the time, when I was working on cruiseships.

Botel Admiral in Prague

The botel Admiral is docked south of the city centre of Prague, about opposite the modern building called " Ginger & Fred "

The city may easily be reached by tram.

Unique Qualities: Admiral Botel might be a solution for ships-lovers like I am .

For more infos about this botel I made a link to their homepage !

On my pic the Botel is on the left side of the river, and in the background St.Vitus , so you may get an idea about the distance to the city

Hotel Europa in Prague

Hotel Europa is one of the most famous hotels in Prague, mainly as it has a really great Art Nouveau-fassade and as it is located directely at Wentzel Square / Vaclavske Namesti

Unique Qualities: The interior of the restaurant and cafe is in Art Nouveau-style and offers also a nice garden along Wentzel Square.

For 300 Kronen you may get a great breakfast-buffet there, quite expensive for Prague, but maybe worth a try, considdering the great architecture inside !

Trojska Camping

Prague - the townsquare

There are plenty of great campgrounds in Prague !
I parked my motorhome in one of the many sites in " Trojska " in the north of Prague, with a good connection by tram and night-tram directely to the city within 20-30 minutes.

Unique Qualities: In Trojska 4 different campsites are built into the backyards of private buildings.
Only 1 of them has a 24 hours service at the reception, so you may arrive any time of the day.
The others will lock a gate at 10.00 p.m.

I payed 240 Kronen for 1 motorhome and 1 person.
Showers were cold only, but overall it was a good experience, including a restaurant and small shop on the site.

Hotel U Tri Pstrosu / the 3 oistrichs .
It got its name by the fact that it once belonged to a rich merchant, whose only trading-object were the feathers of oistrichs - they were the latest fashion at the time around 1600 A.D.

Lateron it bacame a coffe-house and finally a really great restaurant and Hotel

Unique Qualities: If you click on my pic, you may see the hotel :
It is rather dark, but it is the house you see in front of the lighted tower.

They offer a great breakfast-buffet for 300 Kronen.
Not cheap, but a special event on a special location !

Hotel Pariz in Prague

Hotel Pariz ( obviously the Czech spelling for Paris ) is a lovely Art Nouveau building just next to the Municipal building and Powder tower.

Unique Qualities: This type of hotel is not really in my budget, but I always enjoy to have some coffe in such a great hotel-lounge, that is decorated in the very best Art Nouveau style.

Hotel U Zlante studne: a cosy hotel below the castle

Hotel U Zlante studne in Prague

This lovely ****hotel is on Hradcin, just a few meters below the castle, and close to the great "Ledebour gardens" / Ledeburska zahrada.
The hotel is on my pic the door at the very end of the street.
I may imagine, a taxi could go there, but with your private car it might be a problem, where to park.

Unique Qualities: The surrounding is absolutely beautiful and quiet.
With just a few minutes to walk, you will get to the castle or to Palais Waldstein / Valdstejnsky palac.
It is certainly NO cheap place to go, but a great place for a great vacation.
