Helicopters galore

There are plenty of helicopters on display there also.
They seem to be still in good shape and I cannot understand that any army would sell them or even give them away.
But it could be of course that importants spare-parts had been taken out of them already, and they just look good from outside, but are not able anymore to fly.

Airplane Graveyard-Bone Yard
at Davis Monthan Airforce Base

Walk to the very back of the fence

Maybe I am able to visit this museum soon again, during the opening-times.
Then I will take my pics directely there and not in such a big distance,through the fence and walking on a field that had a path already, clearly marked by plenty of people obviously walking there outside of the opening-times as well.

A passenger airplane

In the background of this picture you may also see a passenger-airplane. It is a pity I could not get any closer.
I think there was a total of 3 such civil aircrafts, while all the rest were used by the army, like the 2 MIGs in the front.
