i can remember cruising the rhine, and visiting sankt goar and loreley back in 2002. it was a beautiful day on board the boat! your page brings back some awesome memories for me! :)

Ich weiss nicht was soll das bedeuten dass ich jetzt hungrig bin - der Wunsch nach einem Sau(er)braten, der geht mir nicht aus dem Sinn....
The Rhine vally looks beautiful, and so many castles! Burg Stahleck sounds to be a nice place to stay in.
those were the days when girls could drive men mad by singing and just combing their hair ... today they need microphones, big loudspeakers, a gigantic stage-show, a promotion manager, backstage workers, but no comb any more ...
castles and architecture is always a good thing to see my friend ! love this page.
When my children were younger I visited most of these castles with them. (Lahneck had the best tour in those days.) And just last week I went through there twice on the train, on my way to Bonn and back. Much nicer than the new high-speed railway line.
