Schönbrunn Castle is an absolutely MUST when you visit Vienna.
The castle in situated INSIDE Vienna - not otside like written in many books and VT-pages.

Simply take U4 and leave at station " Schönbrunn "

There is so much to see in Schönbrunn-castle, that I decided to make an extra-page about it

All these pics are my own of course, made partly in March 2002 and partly in October 2002
.
Gloriette - built on top of a small hill in the park is a great Cafe & Restaurant today and offers a great view over Vienna and the Schönbrunn-park
In an extra building you may see the royal carriages, including the last automobile of the emperor
.
I put the pics of the Royal carriages into the chapter " Transportation "

all other pics are under " General "

Hi Michael - thanks for visiting my Uluwatu page - this monkey business reminded me of what our dear politicians are just doing to us!

I have no idea if it's better than Versail but it sure looks wonderful.

Watched the New Years' Eve concert, with photos of the Schönbrunn - and now have enjoyed your page on it. We're looking forward to visiting.

Kaiserschmarn! MMMM! I Think everybody who comes to Vienna can expect to put on several kilos in weight. But it sounds like a lot of fun and life should be about fun. Katherine:)
