Hello, Michael! ><>< Thanks for your great story and pictures... I was very impressed....
This is a very interesting page, with lots of superb pics and useful tips. Best regards from Kleinzell1 Maggy
seems like very picturesque place to visit. to be true i remember good the bridges :-)
Michael, very interesting page about the Semmering. I especially find the transportation tips helpful. As you know I only made it to Muerzzuschlag on a daytrip from Vienna. :-)
A wonderful page Michael! Definitely a place we need to visit to see the Edelweiss! I had some butterflies do the same to me atop Sonnenstein on the Traunsee.
Edelweiss and a delicious pastry with hiking in between sounds excellent!
Your page makes me want to go and see the Edelweiss and the grashoppers myself. Wonderful pics and stories!
Unfortunately I did not visit the Semmering while I was living/working in Vienna for 2 years (the reason is that my home is near Innsbruck) but it is really interesting and shows that Vienna is in some sense an Alpine city.
Hi Michael, Semmering is a beautiful place which I will visit it if I were to come to vienna again :)
A visit to a train museum then coffee and applestrudel in the beautiful Austrian countryside, with those wonderful mountains in Semmering sounds so appealing right now writing from hot & humid Budapest! Tim
