Blarney castle is one of the places, almost every bustour through Ireland is taking you to.
They keep telling you, that you will get the "gift of the Gab" when you kiss a stone on top of the castle.... |

there is a large shop for souvenirs, for knit-wear etc.
The castle and this place is fine in many ways, it simply would not change anything in your life, when you lean down on top of the castle, bend back and kiss the "Blarney-stone" |

Good views of one of Ireland's many great castles. My husband & sons did the kissing...my fear of height kept me on the sidelines..not needing any blarney. :-) |
