The Burren is a unique landscape, mainly consisting of vulcanic rocks, with big holes and small gorges, going down 1-2 meters and in these gorges you may find plenty of different flowers of the artic-,tropical-, subtropical- and mediteranean-area - and this is the ONLY place in the world, where all these flowers grow next to each other

 when were you last there, 1962? I was there in the spring of 2008, it was nothing at all like that. Large ferry that boarded from the pier.
