Normally nobody would get the idea to go to a place like Honningsvag, BUT the Northcape is just a few km from there and the Hurtigruten-ships are docking daily 2 times there in order to load or unload their passengers there.

Fabulous colurful photos of Honningsvag, although you haven't really been there. The north cape seems to operate like a magnet for tourists in Honningsvag. :-)

Really, a must to visit! When a boy I often was late for going to bed at Midnight-sun, haha! But I could explain it – sun was still shining!

in my opinion the Nordkapp is nothing else than Europe's northernmost rourist trap. There are thousends of other nice places to watch the Midnight Sun without extra hassles and free of charge.

Michael, it must have been very interesting to visit a place like this to witness the Midnight Sun! Excellent tip on the highway tolls - too bad it seems to be a nightmare though!!
