    Getting TO/AROUND: Sandormen - the danish expression for "sandworm" - is a traktor with a wagon and it will take you through the Dunes directely to the place, where the 2 seas meet. You may get out there , have a look around and take another Sandormen back to the large parking at the end of the road.
    There are 35 seats in that wagon and it runs on a regular schedule all day, especially in summertime. Better check their web-page, when you get there out of season ! The walking-distance from the parking will be around 35 minutes.

    Getting TO/AROUND: The next ferry-ports are in Hirtshals - about 60km south-west of Skagen. The small coast-road #597 or the train will take you there. Ferries are leaving for Oslo (8:30 h) Kristiansand (4h) Larvik (5:30h) and Moss (7h).
    The other port is Frederikshavn - about 40km south of Skagen. The train or the coast-road #40 will take you there. Ferries will need 10 hours to Oslo, 6 hours to Larvik, 7 hours to Moss and 2 hours to Goeteborg.

    Getting TO/AROUND: There is just a small side-train-line, ending in the town of Skagen, so you will not need your own car to reach this special place at the tip of Danmark. From Skagen you still have about 3 km to go to the tip of Danmark, but you may take the local bus that runs on a regular schedule at least during the summer-season. Renting a bike and biking through the Dunes might be another great way to get there !
