After returning yesterday from Breclav and visiting Lednice, I must say u have done a really good job with your Lednice pages!It will probably take me while to build my pages.I didn't make it inside so nice to see your pics! I want to return soon.Tim

thanks for the Lednice pages! unfortunately it is all truth, the crossbow-shooting competitions, falcons show, etc. It used to be a great place before the commercial activities started. Last time I visited I was very disappointed what is going on there :(

Amazing how you find all these cool castles to visit. A perk you get living in Central Europe! Great tips man, and ooohh a cross-bow shooting contest.. l'd love to do that!

There are sure a lot of castles in the Czech Republic, and it seems like you've seen most of them. I was particularly impressed with the inside of the castle--very beautiful.

Looking at the large number of 19th centry castles in Bohemia and Moravia the crazy Ludwig II of Bavaria looks almost modest, here much more money was extorted from the dependents, maybe the area was also more productive than Bavaria.

I am not a fanatic of castle visits but Lednice castle looks great. Too bad that the limited number of guided tour makes it so difficult to visit completely. Thank you Michael !

I always love visiting castles and this looks like a wonderful one to visit! Great inside tour Michael! Pitty that you really have to 'plan' your visit though, by buying the tickets for the seperate tours as soon as you get here.

imagine that precious fruit bowl full of berries to eat with a warm palacinki and those particulars on a fassade reminds me those of a cathedral here ;-)... this page made me travel with mind and I have enjoyed it very much!!!
