Luggage And Bags: Even a short walk with heavy luggage might be a problem with heavy suitcases to be carried over several bridges and the old cobbled stones, which are not asflat as in other places, but many are sunken in...
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Ladies - better get some flat and comfortable shoes, its cobbled stones all over Venice
Toiletries & Medical Supplies: There are only a few Supermarkets for everyday-goods and they will be hidden in areas tourists will normally not go to.
Photo Equipment: Its best to buy it outside of Venice
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: There are 2 camping sites in Venice - but it will take about 1 hour for the boats to get to the St.Marc's square and ships will run late at night
Miscellaneous: Bring a lot of money...
...everything is really rather expensive...
But simply have a look for this lovely pic...
...these sights are WORTH all the EXTRA-troubles...
...but it is also worth every penny !!!
