To Devil Island on a cristmas-cruise...

What a great adventure to explore this famous prison island

All pics on this Devil-island-page are scanned pics of my super-8-movie....

The single pics are just 8mm wide and 5mm high

I had to scan them with 2400dpi...

So this is why the quality of the pics is not really perfect...

...BUT with the help of the Devil it worked ;-))

Wow, I bet it absolutely fascinating to be able to explore something so historic. The movie "Papillon" still is one of favorite of Steve Mcqueen. Seeing a shark lurking in the nearby waters reminds tourist to keep their butt on land:-) Wonderful page!

Just came from the islands. Why there are no tourist allowed on Devils Island? We visit only Royal.

Oh, those remote places... always a temptation for a visit...

Fascinating page particularly for anyone who has read Papillon!
