I have been several times in Rio de Janeiro.
I came here when I was working onboard of M/S Vistafjord.Rio was one of the very few ports where we always stayed overnight.
My best memory of Rio is the great mountain-scenery with Corcovaro (with the statue) and the famous Sugar Loaf, with the cable-car-station on top.

What a beautiful coastline! It's no wonder your ship stayed overnight each time you visited. Beaches would make you want to stay for a month!

Cool page on one of the best cities in the world! Copacabana beach was nice, but I don't remember any crystal cleare waters. Nice info and photos!
