Duernstein / Dürnstein is the most famous town in the Wachau ( the Danubevalley between Krems and Melk ) . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Austria is part of the EU since 1995 and is one of the "Schengen-countries" and has the EURO (the best idea of EU in my opinion...)
All cars and motorbikes using austria's HIGHWAY = "Autobahn", have to buy a so called "AUTOBAHN-VIGNETTE" and fix it on the windscreen of their car, B E F O R E they enter the highway. You could buy it at most petrol stations, newspapershops and also at most highway-border-stations. |
