Thank you for sharing a few highlights of Wurzburg with us. I attended the American High School there and Lived in Kitzingen. I treasure the memories. Both cities are beautiful and filled with history and character.
Great stuff about Würzburg, Michael. It takes a "real" German or Austrian to hit the high points of any Austrian or German city, especially in an area like Franken. I'll be in Würzburg in a couple of weeks and really needed the "refresher" course. Thanks
Thanks Michael for showing us highlights and hidden paths of Wuerzburg - one of the most interesting cities in Bavaria in my opinion. I've been there once and even have made a page, but in a hurry. I want to rebuild it one day.
Hoffentlich geht sich im Frühling eine Frankenreise aus - Nürnberg, Bamberg, Würzburg, mit Bratwurst und Bocksbeutel.
Old Würzburg looks amazing! I'm not sure but maybe I was here as a kid or maybe it was Nürnberg.
what a wonderful city! it seems there is something interesting on every step you do there. Residenz and Hofkirche is gorgeous as well as Marienkapelle and Rathaus. Mainbruecke reminds me Karlov Most in Prague a bit. And nice idea they do with bycicles
Würzburg ist eine gute Idee für eine Wochenendreise im Frühling. Ich habe eigentlich Nürnberg geplant, aber vielleicht geht mit 1 - 2 Tagen mehr beides, Franken ist ja nicht so gross.
