    • Schlosshotel Linderhof is situated directely at the entrance to the park, and is also the only hotel so close to the castle.
    They also have a great restaurant and a self-service-garden-restaurant.

    Unique Qualities: This hotel is built in a unique surrounding, and once that the castle is closed in the evening after 5.30 p.m. this place is absolutely quiet.

     Your tips helped a lot - thanks! Sadly, when I was at Linderhof (Sept 2009) they did not allow photography inside the palace (probably partly to facilitate the large number of people which visit ... the back-to-back guided tour was only 10 min)    		Kuznetsov_Sergey Wed Nov 30, 2005 15:56 UTC
