    • The Amsterdam Red light district is in fact a very interesting place :

    Its funny to see, that groups of tourists walk through there - even WITH their children of 3 -18 years

    The ladies in the windows seem not to be able to afford more than some underwear...

    ...and obviously these poor ladies may afford only very tiny appartments, consisting of not much more than a bed ...

    ...and so they stand there at the window, watching the people passing by....

    ...and they see all these great channels and Grachten, lighted with thousands of great colorful lights, they see the small ships going through the channels, and plenty of happy families with their children, walking through this "nasty area"

    Dress Code: The ONLY dresscode seems to exist for the poor ladies in the tiny small appartments...

    ...nobody cares for the Dresses of the tourists...

    BUT: If you take pics - like I did - make sure nobody will watch you...

    You might get into real trouble...
