Ireland - Dingle - Slea Head House

This is one of the most beautiful guesthouses I ever met here in Europe :

Slea Head House

Its about 5 miles west of the town of Dingle - simply take the " Slea Head Drive " that will as well take you to all the famous bee-hive huts
.

Unique Qualities: They have only a few rooms, a large parking in front of the house and a wonderful view over the bay

...and the fassade with all its lovely bears and sheep is a sight by itself

The hotel is situated directely behind the park of Belvedere - on this pic in the very background

Unique Qualities: Hotel im Palais Schwarzenberg is situated in an old palais built 1697 by the famous architect " Fischer von Erlach "
Its a first-class-luxury-hotel with its own park, and a big parking.

Weisses R�ssl and Wolfgangsee

Hotel Weisses R�ssel is the most famous hotel in St.Wolfgang. It is the one, that is mentioned in the famous operetta by R.Benatzky.

The hotel is a 5star-hotel with all the comfort you may expect !

Unique Qualities: Have a look for the great panorama you will have from the terrace of the hotel.
They even have a swimmingpool built into the lake and also heated in wintertime with 30 degrees celcius !! (you might see it, when you click on my pic ! )

I took this pic at the terrace of the church, where you may look down to the hotel.

Hotel 3Hasen

The Basilika of Mariazell is the most famous pilgrim-church of Austria and is situated in Steiermark, about 80 km south of Vienna.
Mariazell - surrounded by high mountains is at the same time a great place for a vaction in summer and a great place to ski in winter.

Unique Qualities: Just opposite of Hotel Drei Hasen you will get to the cablecar taking you up on B�rgeralpe, summer and winter.
To the main-square of Mariazell and the Basilika it is just a walk of 3 minutes.

Hotel Sacher in Vienna

Hotel Sacher is the most famous hotel in Vienna - it was founded by Madame Sacher, who used to smoke Cigars in public at a time, when this was normally totally out of question for a woman...

Of course the hotel is the birthplace of the world-famous Sachertorte
.

Unique Qualities: The Hotel is situated just opposite of the Vienna Opera and if you want to enter their Bar, you have to wear a tie, even if your name is Placido Domingo or whoever - NO exceptions...
.
But to eat Sachertorte on the terrace or in the Cafe, no tie is required ;-))

ADARE MANOR

Much too high rates for me and you ! But if you may afford a Rolls Royce, you may also afford to stay here some time !

Unique Qualities: It is a wonderful old castle, situated in a huge park with very old trees and they even have a river running through the park.
In the back of the park they have their own golf-course, built around an old friary.

It is a pity that the park is mostly off limits for visitors, but some years ago I had been there in the low season and there were no guards at the gate to chase me away...

...and I took my chance to take some great pics !
