Yes, I finally finished the CAMINO / St. James-Way / Jakobsweg
from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela !
Walking took longer than estimated, because I made a lot of pics and videos... ;-)
NO blisters at all !!!
After the first 100km of walking I had severe problems with my knee
and so I made a rest from walking and took the bus to
Berlorado - Burgos - Leon - Astorga
The remaining 270km from Astorga to Santiago
I was walking again: see my picture here,
taken by a shop-owner on Mt. O Cebreiro !
260 GB of videos & pics so far !
370km of walking & 340km of bus-tours !
I will be back in time for the VT-meeting in Bergamo !

Unanderra - south of Sydney
with the largest Buddhist temple
in the southern hemisphere

Glen Innes north-west of Sydney
is part of the so-called Celtic-Country

Nelligen - an early settlement of 1858

The balancing rocks of Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a small village in NSW / Australia
with some "balancing rocks" (just 1 tip)

Wallabadah and the monument for the 1st fleet of early settlers who came to Australia

Albion Park - an excellent museum for airplanes!

Thanks for the birthday wishes Michael. I will really be keeping close watch for your Camino pages. I am seriously thinking of giving it a try before I retire but in the meantime, I am back on the fitness program to see if my knees will work better when they are not carrying so much weight. Well done and congratulations!

Great that you are doing the CAMINO from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela! I know a man here in Frankfurt who did it all alone in a wheelchair (and then wrote a book about it). He wore out several pairs of gloves along the way.
