"Watch Out......Its Deer" a Nara Travel Page by Archie_Oak

<P>Nara is just 30 minutes train journey from Kyoto, it was bright and sunny! Nara is another amazing place in Japan. You will find signboards along the roadside saying, drive cautiously?Ecause they have left deer free all over the town. The traffic and the deer are very much habitual to each other.
Fun is watching the visitors feeding cookies to deer, which are specially made for them! These cookies are called as <em>"ShikaSenbei"</em> And yes! You can also experience the fun when the deer chase you tracing the smell of cookies and you just can’t escape them.</p>
<p>The magnificent wooden structures <strong>Japanese Pagoda</strong> are on the backdrop of this Deer Park</p>

<h3>Todaiji Temple</h3>

<p>This is the oldest temple of Buddha in Japan. Also called as Great Buddha. The fascinating part of this temple is the entire structure is wooden except for its two horns on the roof, which are made of solid gold!!!</p>

<p>It may not seem so huge from outside as the idols placed inside the temple.</p>

<p>There are wooden statues of gods and evils. The statue of buddha itself is magnificent.
