It's hard to believe that only a decade or so ago, much of Miami Beach was rundown, with a significant population of elderly retirees sitting in front of shabby deco buildings and Cuban refugees seeking cheap shelter.</font><font color="pink"><b><BR>
<BR>Well, things change. Thanks to its rediscovery by a few fashion photographers and the diligent efforts of preservationists and civic supporters, Miami Beach has not only regained its hotspot resort status, it's ready to drown in its own fabulousness. Trendy nightlife, and the crowd is hip and beautiful.
