I was there for a conference and kept asking why did they organize it here, as there were problems with transport from Izmir airport to Kusadasi and the service is painful. Got the answer: it is cheap.
The sea is gorgeous but there is no beach, just a thin line of dark sand and pebbles occupied by sun chairs, which are 'booked' at early hours by the thousands of eurotrash tourists staying here...
- Pros:If you have a boat...
- Cons:The type of 'tourist' who goes to this places...
- In a nutshell:To avoid at any cost if you like confort, have hygienic standards, like good food, and expect good service...
