Isla Saona is a part of the Parque Nacional del Este. This place is a protected park where it is not allowed to built hotels or holiday villages. It's an uninhabited island, there is only a little fisherman's village. Here you can find fabulous beaches and a beautiful sea.

I was there in 1994, it was really a lovely place! Hope that the many tour operators haven't destroyed it ...
